回水洞肉 The return of water: holes and flesh
林千叶 QY Lin

Broken promise of a geometric utopia, confinement of the flesh by the script.

Shhhhh, I don't want you to ask or to utter the invitation is here.

Later, if you catch me in an open space I might tell you all about this, about the two places and what I am trying to mend, how I found all the pieces of a dismembered figure, what I threw away and those I asked to be given back. But now here it is, a souvenir, a gift, a dream, in the most generous of its forms. So come here, take it.

QY Lin is a recent graduate of Elam school of Fine Arts, having completed their honours research project in 2019. Raised between Aotearoa and China, their work deals with a disjointed relationship between language and the body. They are interested in building a multilingual poetics of a digital but intimate space.
