Susu

We will depart

leaving, walking, stepping, counting,
reminded by a distant thought,
so we fly

flying, speeding, moving miles and miles,
the air carries the body in another way,
the land starts to curve in the eyes

We fall, now we arrive

Rivers never stop streaming upwards,
as each tide returns, as it should be, running loud

We ask about the same thing, breathing short

until the body shares the same clarity of water,
the same kind of lively flow and laughter

Beads roll down the hill,
making marks along soils travelled.

我們開始

走,
走著走著,
忽然想起遙遠的事
於是立刻起飛

飛,
飛啊飛啊,

空氣托住了身體

落下時,我們就到了

一條從未停止向上流動的溪流,
回溯,
澎湃一如往常

我們在一起追問,
追問同一個東西,
呼吸堆在胸膛

直到身體與水共享一份澄澈,
同一份生動的奔跑和歡愉

玻璃球滴溜溜地滾動著
結結實實地留下了路上的軌跡

Susu is a Taiwanese artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa, working in digital mediums and audio-visual installations. Looking at ways materials and language inhabit digital spaces in a stable yet fragile consistency, embodying a failure in constructing a built narrative.
