Window is a dual-platform contemporary art and project space which showcases experimental works onsite and online.

Hosting shows that are both internally curated and generated by our collaborators, Window aims to support and showcase a diverse range of ambitious and engaging projects between its two platforms and through other outputs and events.

As the first dedicated online exhibition space in the country, Window online gives space to online projects that would otherwise be unviable or go unseen. The onsite space, located in the foyer of The University of Auckland’s General Library foyer, is seen by thousands of people every week. Window has launched the careers of many students as artists, curators and writers. Projects premiered at Window have gone on to be shown at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery and Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts.

Laura Duffy is an artist based in Te Whanganui-A-Tara, Aotearoa. Their visual practice works with experimental video and low fi animation, looking for queer pleasure or joy derived from failure, error and disgust.
