Chaos Magic by Matt Joils consists of a series of small-scale abstract painting installation and a large mural in response to Mark Fisher’s publication Capitalist Realism, which Mark describes: “The widespread sense that not only is capitalism the only viable political and economic system, but also that it is now impossible even to imagine a coherent alternative to it.” The artist raises questions around the role of art and artists’ in the current climate.
