Window Gallery are seeking curators to contribute to the running of our onsite and online programmes for the remainer of 2021 and beyond.

Window is a dual-platform contemporary art and project space which showcases contemporary and experimental works. It lives onsite at The University of Auckland’s General Library foyer, and online at

We are looking for one - two gallery facilitators to join the current team, planning and executing onsite and online programmes alongside supporting and showcasing ambitious and engaging projects through our platforms and events.

The facilitator position is voluntary, entailing between 5–10 hours of curatorial and administrative work per week, with exhibitions rotating on a six-weekly basis. Successful applicants will be curious, passionate, driven, empathetic, and great at teamwork.

We are searching for those competent (or keen to learn) in the following areas:


Active engagement with the local art community
Strong writing ability
Understand aspects of exhibition and installation processes


Proactive planning and management skills
Ability to network and promote upcoming shows
Sensitivity to working within a larger institutional context
Design skills and/or competence in web development
Email and social media maintenance
